Nam Mo A Mi Tuo Fo, hi Xiao, here are my translation of SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA'S Teachings:

Five commitments of Buddha

        01. In the morning, Buddha walks for almgivings from people who love him.
        02. In the afternoon, Buddha preaches Dharma.
        03. In the evening, Buddha teaches and transforms Buddhist monks and nuns.
        04. At night, Buddha replies to questions of gods.
        05. At late night, Buddha examines about the causes and conditions of being born in different realms of all sentient beings.

Translator's commentary:  Shakyamuni Buddha or Buddha slept one hour a night only. Yay, BUDDHA is the best! Dharma Master Hsuan Hua slept two to three hours a night only.  But I have slept many hours, about six hours a night or less.  Buddhas and Bodhisattvas 'say' that's OK.  As long as I keep my mind in balances and be able to cultivate well hence everything will be counted.  Our sleep quality are very sound, no nightmares at all and We are able to cultivate while we sleep as well.

Four accomplishments of pure Precepts

        01. Accomplishment of pure precepts by upholding the Precepts.
        02. Accomplishment of pure precepts by mastering the sense organs.
        03. Accomplishment of pure precepts by right livelihood.
        04. Accomplishment of pure precepts by depending on a specific contemplation of Buddha's teachings.

Sincerely, translator Thich Tam Tinh.

Nam Mo A Mi Tuo Fo, Ni Hao Xiao, here is my translation from SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA'S Teachings for your motivation to help me:

All Buddha Dharma start with the helps of Good Wise advisers (Spiritual advisers)

The accomplishments of all Buddha Dharma are from the helps of Good wise advisers. Good wise advisers are the sources, from Good wise advisers Dharma arrive, depending on Good wise advisers Dharma form, depending upon Good wise advisers Dharma develops, depending on Good wise advisers Dharma stay on the world, Good wise advisers are the causes and the conditions, Good wise advisers often start to spread Dharma.

Hoa Nghiem Sutra, the 33rd chapter: Universal Worthy Bodhisattva.

Sincerely, translator Thich Tam Tinh.

Nam Mo A Mi Tuo Fo, here is more of my translation from SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA'S Teachings:

Gratitude of Good wise advisers is greater than Parents

BUDDHA preached: You should choose virtuous persons and follow them, you should stay away from evil persons; I always follow advices of Good wise advisers from the time I awoke from Dharma to the time I attain BUDDHAHOOD.

Buddhist monks (or nuns) teach people to do good deeds and avoid doing bad deeds, introduce the right Way to follow, their gratitude is greater than your parents.

Explanation: A great Buddhist monk can show you the right Way to have liberation from the circle of rebirths and deaths which your parents cannot.

Sincerely, your Good Wise advisor, Thich Tam Tinh

Nam Mo A Mi Tuo Fo, Ni Hao Xiao, here is one more of my translation from SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA'S Teachings:

Because of Good Wise adviser you have great accomplishments from Buddha Dharma or even greater: Attainment of the Way

Buddhists (laymen or laywomen)! Bodhisattvas often develop all good roots in Buddhism because of Good wise advisers, like the snowy mountain often develops medical herbs. Because of Good wise advisers they accomplish Buddha Dharma, like a great ocean collects the flows of rivers. Because of Good wise advisers they attain Merits and Virtues, like an ocean have treasures. Because of Good wise advisers they purify their Bodhi mind, like a strong fire refines purest gold. Because of Good wise advisers they have liberation from the circle of rebirths and deaths (Samsara in Sanskrit language), like the great Sumeru rises above from a great ocean. Because of Good wise advisers they don't pollute (contaminate) from the worldly dharmas, like a lotus flower doesn't have muddy water on it. Because of Good wise advisers they don't accept evil deeds, like a great ocean doesn't accept corpses. Because of Good wise advisers they develop pure Dharma, like an illuminated moon gradually becomes fuller and rounder. Because of Good wise advisers they can understand well about the ten Dharma realms (or the ten spiritual realms, they are hell realm, hungry ghost realm, animal realm, human being realm, asura realm, god realm, Arhat realm, Pacceka Buddha realm, Bodhisattva realm, BUDDHA realm.), like the Sun at noon can shine light down all over the world.  Because of Good wise advisers they can develop their great Vow, like parents feed and educate their child (or children).

Hoa Nghiem Sutra, the 33rd chapter:  The Universal Worthy Bodhisattva.

Explanation:  Bodhisattvas has 53 different grades:  From the lowest Bodhisattvas who begin to make a vow to save them and to save others from Samsara to the highest Mahasattva Bodhisattvas who are just one more step of cultivations to become a BUDDHA, e.g. Avolokiteshvara Bodhisattva, Great Strength Bodhisattva, Universal Worthy Bodhisattva, Great Wisdom Bodhisattva, Maitreya Bodhisattva, etc.  Bodhisattvas can be classified by two different kinds:  Enlightened Bodhisattvas and worldly Bodhisattvas.  Buddha regard Bodhisattvas from the above paragraph as worldly Bodhisattvas.  They made a vow to teach or support themselves and others with Buddha Dharma.

Attainment of the Way:  To become a Buddha.

Sincerely, Good wise advisor Thich Tam Tinh.

Namo Amitabha, hi Nana, here are my new translations from SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA'S Teachings for everyone:

10 Kinds of Mind that Go Alongside with the Circle of Rebirths and Deaths

        01. Wrong views and ignorance.
        02. Often near evil friends.
        03. Not happy with BUDDHA'S Teachings.
        04. Mind makes evil karma.
        05. Evil minds spreads everywhere or in other words, evil minds have evil affections to other people everywhere.
        06. Having evil minds continuously.
        07. Hiding your faults or hiding your sins.
        08. Not afraid of the three evil paths or the three wicked paths. They are hell realm, hungry ghost realm, animal realm.
        09. Are not shameful and shy and do not have respects (for Buddha Dharma or high level sentient beings? I should cultivate both of them.)
        10. Cling to and have passions for mind with bad karma.

10 Kinds of Mind that Go Against the Cycle of Rebirths and Deaths

        01. Believed deeply in the Law of Karma (the Law of Causes and Effects, the Karmic Law, the Causality Law).
        02. Are shameful and shy and have respects (for Buddha Dharma or high level sentient beings? I should cultivate both of them.)
        03. Afraid of the Law of Karma.
        04. Having reform & repentant mind and reform & repentant chanting ceremonies.
        05. Eliminating completely the evil minds which occur continuously.
        06. Make a Bodhi Mind to cultivate to become a BUDDHA. (my hint: The best Bodhi Mind is making a vow to practice Pure Land properly to become a BUDDHA.)
        07. Stay away from bad and evil things, people and places and follow good and virtuous things, people and places.
        08. Uphold righteous Dharma or Buddha Dharma hence it can stay in the world.
        09. Often think about Buddhas.
        10. Don't make bad karma when having a right mind about the void (emptiness) of all dharmas.

I wish you all have more Wisdom by avoiding 10 Kinds of Mind that Go Alongside with the Cycle of Rebirths & Deaths and by following 10 Kinds of Mind that Go Against the Cycle of Rebirths & Deaths for \*great improvements*/ for your spiritual life. Sincerely, translator Thich Tam Tinh, translated from an authentic Dharma book of a famous Vietnamese Buddhist monk.

Shame and shyness

All Buddhas often preach the followings: There are two pure things that often save and bless sentient beings, they are shame and shyness.

Shame is oneself doesn't do bad deeds and/or evil deeds. Shyness is one never tell other(s) to do bad deeds and/or evil deeds. Shame is you feel shameful in your mind by yourself. Shyness is you express your fault toward other. Shame is shameful to human being. Shyness is shy with God. They are called shame and shyness.

A person who doesn't know shame and shyness, isn't called a human being but is called an animal. Because of shame and shyness, a person is respectful to his parents and his Dharma teacher.

Dda.i Ba't Nie^'t Ba`n Sutra. Chapter 19: Virtues.

A human being must have gratitude (thankfulness). A human being who doesn't have gratitude isn't better than an animal.

Shakyamuni Buddha preached in one Sutra.

Four kinds of spirits know a person who do any good deeds (or virtuous deeds) and bad deeds (or evil deeds)

Human beings do any good deeds (or virtuous deeds) and bad deeds (or evil deeds) will be known by four spirits: One is earth spirits, two is celestial spirits, three is a person next to you, four is your own consciences.

Ma. Y' Sutra

Explanation: Deed is any 'doing' from the three karmic gates of body, mouth and mind. All kind of karma of a sentient being are from his body, mouth and mind. Hence there are body karma, mouth karma and mind karma classified by karmic gates; good karma and bad karma classified by quality of karma.

Commentary of translator: There are more undeniable knowings of human beings' deeds from the followings:
        01. The Law of Karma: The Dharmapada Sutra says Good and bad karma of human being will following him (or her) like his own shadow.
        02. King Yama: He is a metamorphosis body (Nirmana-kaya in Sanskrit language) of a high level Bodhisattva who lives in hell realm. He has all of documentations of human beings' good karma and bad karma. Any person who sees Him in hell realm will review all of his deeds made while still living on earth and will be judged by King Yama to be born in an appropriate Dharma realm according to all his good karma and bad karma.
        03. All Enlightened sentient beings who don't live on earth.
        04. All habitants of Amitabha Buddha's Pure Land.
Of course I'm not better than BUDDHA. I learned these things from Buddha's teachings.

Sincerely, Buddhist Sage Thich Tam Tinh.

Nam Mo A Mi Tuo Fo, Ni Hao Xiao, here are my translations from Preachings of SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA:

You should be around a Good Wise advisor

Dear buddhist! Good wise adviser is like a virtuous mother because he often forms seed natures of Buddha. Good wise adviser is like a solemn father because he give you great and big benefits. Good wise adviser is like a wet nurse because he protects you from doing bad and evil deeds. Good wise adviser is like a professor because he teaches Bodhisattvas worthy-to-learn things. Good wise adviser is like a clever tour guide when he often teaches profound transcendental perfections (Pàramita in Sanskrit language). Good wise adviser is like a doctor when he often heals afflictive illnesses of mind. Good wise adviser is like a snowy mountain because he cultivates up medical herbs of Buddha's Wisdom. Good wise adviser is like a bravery general because he destroys all fears. Good wise adviser is like a boatman because he takes sentient being across fast running river of rebirths-and-deaths. Good wise adviser is like a businessman because he takes sentient beings to place of Buddha's Wisdom treasures. Dear buddhist! If you wish like I preache above, have right mindfulness and right thoughts, you will be around a Good wise advisor.

Hoa Nghie^m Sutra, chapter 33: Great Vows of Universal Worthy Bodhisattva.

Nam Mo A Mi Tuo Fo, Ni Hao Stephie, here are my advices for Rachel to help her watch out her sicknesses:

Namo Amitabha, my brother forgot to pay the bill on time so the service provider disconnect the internet. That's why yesterday I didn't go online. I paid the late bill today for my brother and the internet service will be continued again tomorrow Yayyy :) :)

Some day you may get very tired but you don't know why.  You may have a common cold, you maybe ready to have a stroke, or you maybe ready to have a high blood pressure.  Those symptoms and sicknesses can happen suddenly and kill you fast if no one is around to see you and to take you to the hospital.  So everywhere you go, when you sense bad luck is going to happen, you should recite 'Namo Amitabha' or 'Namo Avolokiteshvara Bodhisattva' many times then your bad luck will be much lessened or go away.  You should always have a cellphone with you every time so when you feel very sick or fall sick suddenly but no one sees you, you should call your family or friend immediately so they can take you to the hospital immediately.

I know one Vietnamese big guy, he was bigger than me, handsome and polite, had a very good career; when he had a common cold but no one saw him, when his family took him to the hospital, he had a stroke and became a handicap with his wheelchair.  I also know a Vietnamese strong guy, he played sports, one day he had a common cold and felt very tired in the basement with no one around, but he tried to crawled to the first floor and called for help; luckily he was alright with no stroke.  I also know a young beautiful married and very healthy lady, one day she took a bath, felt dizzy and had a small headache, she fell down and passed away, when her family saw her, they found out she had a blood pressure even though she was young and looked healthy !

To avoid many kinds of bad lucks, you should practice to have much more blessings. To have more blessings, you should do charities, have donations to different social events, offer free labor help to people with no charge, the easiest way is to play free online charities games which I play often on websites like www.FreeRice.com www.Charitii.com etc. To avoid very many kinds of bad lucks, you should take refuge in the Triple Gems of BUDDHA, Dharma and Sangha and keep five precious Precepts of a buddhist. Dharma Master Huan Hsua preached "Taking refuge in the Triple Gems is the biggest thing to do for your life." BUDDHA preached "Taking refuges in the Triple Gems is highest taking refuge and the most supreme taking refuge to avoid most sufferings for your life." in the Dharmapada Sutra. To avoid most kinds of bad lucks, you should study how to cultivate your Buddha mind because blessings cannot erase all bad karma (and evil karma if any) you have made in your life, sooner or later, you will have bad karma retribution (or worse) this life or next life (or lives). To avoid all kinds of bad lucks or sufferings, you should practice Pure Land to have liberation from the cycle of rebirths and deaths, the best method of all Buddhist methods to have liberation from the cycle of rebirths and deaths.  Pure Land Buddhism is already a secret of the universe.  Well, talk no more, time to get this info out, sincerely, buddhist Tinh Tam.

Namo Amitabha, hi Ashley, to avoid nightmares, you should do the following things immediately:

         01. Buy a 18 carats
golden chain or a 24 carats golden chain which is very good gold quality with a statue of Amitabha Buddha or Avolokiteshvara Bodhisattva then wear this golden chain on your neck immediately.
         02. Buy a golden statue (about 30cm high or smaller) of Amitabha Buddha or Avolokiteshvara Bodhisattva and put this statue on a coffee table next to your bed. Golden statue must be on same side of the headboard of your bed.
         03. You must put a bed lamp with at least 10 watts of neon light on the coffee table next to Amitabha Buddha or Avolokiteshvara Bodhisattva statue on the coffee table. Never sleep in a total dark room.
         04. Change your meat foods diet to a vegan foods diet as soon as you can and go up from there, e.g. 2 whole days of vegan foods diet in a month then go up to 4 whole days of vegan foods diet in month, then go up to 8, then go up to 10, then go up to 15, then go up to 30/30 or a forever vegetarian.  Your cultivation will improve very much if you are a forever vegetarian ^_^ ^_^ If you are not, your cultivation cannot improve much.  Many people have nightmares partly because they eat meats. Visit my website at www.NamoAmitabha.ws and read my Dharma talk for Reiee to know why you should be a vegan.
         05. Unless you are a Buddhist Sage or better, if you live in a haunted house or your house is near a graveyard you need to move out of that house ASAP or you risk your life of being harm, hurt or worse.
         06. You should take much more time to practice meditation and to recite Amitabha Buddha's name even though you don't like to practice Pure Land yet. These precious practices will make your unreal mind goes closer to your real mind or Buddha mind. These precious practices are very healthy for your Buddha mind.
        07. Reduce your listening to music and practicing music all the time !! You will lose very much blessings by those unhealthy activities.
        08. Reduce listening to music and singing music with topics about love between two different genders and lust ! Visit my website www.NamoAmitabha.ws and read my Dharma talk for Huan to know why.  Instead increase you listening and singing of Buddhist songs \*-_-*/ much more.
I wish you have much better sleep quality and reduce much of nightmares, sincerely, buddhist Tinh Tam.

Nam Mo A Mi Tuo Fo, Ni Hao Karen, here are some of my translations:

One night, god asked Buddha four questions:

        01. What is the most precious?
        02. What is the happiest?
        03. What is the tastiest?
        04. What has the longest longevity?

        Buddha replied:

        01. Belief is the most precious.
        02. Right Dharma is the happiest.
        03. Truthful saying is the tastiest.
        04. Wisdom has the longest longevity.

God bowed down to Buddha respectfully and withdrew.

The other night, God descended from the sky.  His halo and aura shine bright at night.  After bowing down in front of BUDDHA respectfully, he asked Buddha a few questions:

        01. Who is the richest?
        02. Who is the poorest?
        03. What downgrades the world?

        Buddha replied:

        01. Giver is the richest.
        02. Receiver is the poorest.
        03. Ignorance downgrades the world.

God bowed down to Buddha respectfully and withdrew.

Six faults of drinking alcoholic beverages:

        01. Property or properties lessen.
        02. Alcoholic drinker gets sick.
        03. Likely to have conflicts.
        04. Bad rumors spread out.
        05. Hot temper and nonsense.
        06. Intelligences decrease gradually.

Tru'o'`ng A Ha`m Sutra.

Xie xie Ni, sincerely, translator buddhist Tinh Tam.

Namo Amitabha, hi Ashley, here are three translations from Buddha's teachings for you:

Money, property and properties have eight risks to be lost

Money, property and properties have eight risks to be lost, they are:

        01. Taken by a court official into public property and properties.
        02. Stolen by a thief or a burglar.
        03. Burned by fire.
        04. Lost by flood.
        05. Taken by a lender or a creditor.
        06. Lost money in farming.
        07. Lost money in business.
        08. Disobey child (or children) like to gamble and spend very much money for fun.

It's very difficult to keep your money, property and properties from those eight things, you cannot use strengths to keep them.

Kinh Trung Bo^?n Kho'?i Sutra.

Stingy from giving is suffering

There is a bird in the mountain which has a long single-feathered tail. A hunter catches the bird by its tail, it doesn't let go of its tail because it is afraid of losing its long single-feathered tail, therefore the hunter catches and kill the bird; because of being afraid of losing a long single-feathered tail, the bird dies.

Worldly people lose the will to struggle in life, love and lust, property and properties but cannot escape sufferings because of desires and lust.

The Three Wisdom Sutra.

Money, property and properties can be stolen, virtuous Dharma cannot be stolen

Money, property and properties are impermanent
Virtuous Dharma give you more Wisdom
Things in life suffer from damage and loss with time
        Virtuous Dharma are always stable.
If a person cultivates according to Dharma
Benefits of Dharma will follow him (or her) hundreds of thousand lives
Even if he has a lot of treasures
They cannot follow him next life.
        Money and jewels
        Can be stolen.
The king, enemy, flood and fire
Cannot steal his Dharma properties by his own cultivations.

Cha'nh Pha'p Nie^.m Xu'' Sutra (book 34), chapter Qua'n Thie^n.

Sincerely, translator Thich Tam Tinh.

Nam  Amitabha, hi Tey, thanks very much for allowing me to post my Dharma works in your blog. Blessings are not stolen from the eight risks above. I post them here again for your reference:

        01. Taken by a court official into public property and properties.
        02. Stolen by a thief or a burglar.
        03.  Burned by fire.
        04. Lost by flood.
        05. Taken by a lender or a creditor.
        06. Lost money in farming.
        07. Lost money in business.
        08. Disobey child (or children) like to gamble and spend very much money for fun.

Don't think you are just playing charities games but you are actually saving many future Buddhas' lives from starvation.  Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will praise you for your kindness and Wisdom.

Eight conditions to have peace

        01. Having inheritance from parents.
        02. Have a secure career to earn a living.
        03.  Highly-intellectual (highly-educated).
        04. Have virtuous friends.
        05. For a male person: Having a faithful and virtuous wife. For a female person: Having a faithful and virtuous husband.
        06. Having a child (or children) with filial piety.
        07.  Having harmonious servants and maids.
        08. Stay away from evil deeds.

Translator explanations:

        05. A virtuous person is person who takes refuge in the Triple Gems and upholds five Precepts of a Buddhist. He (or she) must go to a local pagoda to chant regularly every Sunday. He must read and cultivate what Buddha preached in the Sutras. He should listen to and cultivate like Buddhist monks (or nuns) preached in Dharma lectures.
        08. Evil deeds are preached by Shakyamuni Buddha in the Sutras.

Eight conditions to have peace and bliss

        01. Listen to and cultivate like your Dharma teacher preach; honor or worship your Dharma teacher; respect your Dharma teacher.
        02. Teach filial piety to people.
        03. Respect the elders and humble with the youngers.
        04. Cultivate a nature of love, morality, polite and harmony.
        05. Save people who are in danger.
        06. Don't be selfish and think of others.
        07. For a ruler: Impose reasonable tax only. For lenders and creditors: Have small interests on borrower reasonably. For others: Know how to save money.
        08. Abandon past hatreds and resentments.

Translator's explanations:

        01. Honor (or worship) your Dharma teacher (depending on his level of spirituality. It's okay not to worship Him but never ever oppose Him (or 'Her') because when you oppose Him, it's no difference from opposing Gods and Maras 'classified' by spiritual level. Mara is the King of all bad and evil spirits. Also, it's no difference from opposing all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas classified by Buddhist very high level relationship. In other words, He is a closed \\\*relative*/// of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.)
        07. Explanation for ruler, lenders and creditors: Extra moneys are considered stolen money and according to Buddhism: Quite no good. You should read Buddha Dharma for much more info.
Sincerely, translator Tam Tinh.

Namo Amitabha, hi, here are four translations of Shakyamuni Buddha's teachings about husband and wife:

Five things husband and wife respect each other

Husband respects wife by five things:

        1. He treats his wife with politeness and reason.
        2. He doesn't lack solemn.
        3. He provides his wife foods and clothes.
        4. He gives his wife jewelries.
        5. He gives his wife chores to do.

Dear Thien Sanh! A husband must perform these five things for his wife.

A wife must perform these five things for her husband:

        1. She wakes up earlier than her husband.
        2. She sits after her husband.
        3. She talks softly.
        4. She respects and harmonize with her husband.
        5. She reads her husband's mind to please him.

Dear Thien Sanh! These are five things a wife must accomplish to treat her husband. With such treatments, her husband is peaceful and doesn't worry.

Truong A Ham Sutra (book 11).

Natural association of husband and wife

Husband and wife are like flying birds, they associate together and sit on a tall tree at night, being together just a short time then the sun rises up, each bird flies in a different direction for foods, when supporting conditions are met, the couple associates; when supporting conditions are ended (in other words, when opposing conditions are met), the couple separates. Husband and wife are also like those birds, their association or separation don't depend on their wills but depend on the causes and conditions, they cannot keep each other for long.

Ngu Vo Phan Phuc Sutra.

Translator's explanation: All phenomenons and phenomena in the universe aren't born, transformed or formed naturally but they are born, transformed or formed by causes and conditions. Causes are the causes of the Law of causes and effects, conditions or 'secondary causes' are to make or prevent the effects from being happened. There are two kinds of conditions: Supporting conditions and opposing conditions.

Five kinds of wives

Buddha tells Ngoc Da: "There are five kinds of wives: First kind is motherly wife, second kind is wife like a feudal official of a king, third kind is sisterly wife, forth kind is maidenly wife, fifth kind is wifelike wife.

What is motherly wife? She loves her husband like her child hence called motherly wife.

What is wife like a feudal official of a king? She worships her husband like a king hence called wife like a feudal official of a king.

What is sisterly wife? She respects her husband like her older brother hence called sisterly wife.

What is maidenly wife? She attends her husband like a maid hence called maidenly wife.

What is wifelike wife? She leaves her parents, her relatives, intimates with loves and lusts, has different body from her husband but the couple has same thoughts, respects and attends her husband, has no much proud, takes care of domestic affairs and social affairs skillfully, has abundant family, receives guests, have praises from many people, hence called wifelike wife.

Ngoc Da Nu Sutra

Women should beautify themselves with their virtuous mind

Buddha advices Ngoc Da: Women shouldn't value highly of their beauties and become very proud. Pretty face and good-looking appearance aren't beauties, only a female person with virtuous mind who has respects and loves from others is truly pretty.

Ngoc Da Nu Sutra.

Namo Amitabha, hi Tey, everyone and Brogme guys & girls, today I talk Dharma with my friend Venice. Her Vietnamese name is Chau. You should practice meditation by keep you mind pure while walking, standing, lying and sitting. You should also recite Amitabha Buddha's name at least 100 times today by reciting the phrase 'Namo Amitabha' or 'Namo Amitabha Buddha'. You should also recite the phrases 'Namo Avolokiteshvara Bodhisattva' about 30 times and 'Namo Great Strength Bodhisattva' about 10 times today. You should also bow down in front of Amitabha Buddha's small statue respectfully at least 10 times today. You should also recite the Heart Sutra at least 5 times today. To know how to recite the Heart Sutra you should watch this video http://phimphatgiao.com/?a&play=DVD-10/Dien-Doc-Chu-Dai-Bi That's all for today. Remember Tey, everyone and Brogme guys & girls, you should practice and cultivate like I tell you because Buddhism is all about practice meditation, Pure Land and cultivations.  Sincerely, Thich Tam Tinh.

Namo Amitabha, hi Rachel, you should eat less meats as you can and eat veggie foods to replace meaty foods as much as you can -_-  When you eat meats, you indirectly kills animals which are killed for meats. Do the math Rachel! How many meats of different animals you eat in a day? a week? a month and a year? So how many indirect revenges you will get from them? They will follow you to revenge so your worldly life especially your spiritual life will hurt very much! Read my Dharma talk for Reiee in my website www.NamoAmitabha.ws to know more. Any one who eat meats will never be able to improve their spiritual life so they will be suffered. I have been a forever vegetarian for more than 12 years and as you can see my spiritual life is improved very much ^_^ ^_^ ^_^  It's your choice not to listen to me but it's not Wise at all to keep eating meats, sincerely, Buddhist Sage Thich Tam Tinh.

Namo Amitabha, hi Shelyn, your sister and your friend.  You guys or any Brogme girls can offer me food even though I cannot be there to have the food.  However, with the acceptance of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, I make an offer with Enlightened Bodhisattvas and Enlightend Buddhist Sages to arrive there to have the foods and then to transfer the Merits and blessings to me, smile.  The procedure of making offering food(s) and drink(s) to these very high sentient beings are as follow:

        01. All foods and drinks must be 100% veggie or vegan.  When you make offerings Them with meat, it's no difference from killing a child and give a child's meat to Parents !  That's also very impolite !
        02. All foods and drinks should show respects like:  Be warmed up when cold, be cold if it's an ice scream, put in clean container(s), foods and drinks face toward the chair you're sitting and praying, after praying you should leave the chair 1 or 2 minutes hence Bodhisattvas and Sages can arrive to have your food and drink that you make offering.  Never ever make offering dirty food, food with five of the following ingredients: Onions, garlic, Chinese parsley, etc. (I will list the others of all five ingredients later.  Reasons those ingredients are no good:  They smell very bad with heavenly beings' senses and sentient beings above, they smell good to hungry ghosts, cultivators who eat them won't have any miracles when chanting Sutras or reciting mantra or dharani, they will make cultivators horny, spoil food and rotten food !  A small child who has only a candy to offer Them will have very much blessings.
        03. You should pray the following sentences to Them:  'Dear Bodhisattvas and Sages, I make offering you the following food and drink (if you have drink and list their name) for about 1 or 2 minutes.  After having food and drink, you can transfer blessing to Buddhist Sage Thich Huyen Quang.  Thank you and enjoy my food and drink'.
        04. Wait for 1 or 2 minutes then bow a little to Them and sit down on the chair, lift the container up a little and put it down on the table.  Bow them a little again.  Enjoy your food and drink.

Nam Mo A Mi Tuo Fo, Ni Hao Jane, Buddha preached a person who is your good friend has the following seven qualities:

        01. She (or he) often give you what is hard to give.
        02. She often does for you what is hard to do.
        03. She is often patient with you what is hard to be patient.
        04. You tell your secrets with each other.
        05. You keep each other's secrets.
        06. You never leave your friend who need your help very much.
        07. You don't look down your friend when he is poor.

Sincerely, translator Tam Tinh.

Namo Amitabha, hi female persons, when you have free time, you should read Sutras, recite AMITABHA BUDDHA'S NAME, recite some common Buddhist dharanies (the other name is mantras, like the mantra to reborn in Pure Land, the Heart mantra, the Medicine Buddha mantra, the Om Mani Padmi Hum mantra, etc.), meditate your Buddha mind or meditation, play free charities games online, etc.  You shouldn't sit down and do nothing, say you get bored or say you are love sick !  Because of knowing how to cultivate hence you will have many spiritually productive things to do and you will love your life much more than usual  ^_^

Namo Amitabha, hi Palicia, you are not Wise at all when you like to travel very much. Your Buddha mind is obviously a /*slave*\ for the unnecessary enjoyments of your unreal mind and unreal body.  Your Buddha mind is obviously not a \*Master*/ over the unnecessary enjoyments of your unreal mind and unreal body yet.  To know why traveling by airplane is bad for your spiritual life, you should read my Dharma talk for Tey Cindy in my website www.NamoAmitabha.ws  Here is my translation of teachings of SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA for Jane and Daphne:

A Child (or Children) has Five Ways to Worship His (or Her) Parents

        01. Take care of his Parents' needs like his Parents used to take care of him.
        02. Do his Parents' chores on their behalf.
        03. Be a worthy child to follow their heritages.
        04. Take care of his Parents' property and properties.
        05. Give medicines to his Parents when they're ill, and when they pass away, he should always respect them as a child.

Parents Have Five Ways to Love Their Child (or Children)

        01. Raise him up like other Parents.
        02. Teach him to avoid bad habits. With Buddhist tradition: Teach him to avoid doing bad deeds and doing good deeds only.
        03. Take him to school, pays all tuition, teach him with homework when you can so he can have a better future.
        04. Marry him to an appropriate place.
        05. When the right time arrives, grant him household ownership to take care of.

Sincerely, translator Tam Tinh.

Namo Amitabha, hi Yein, you may learn from these great Teachings of SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA:

Ten things to prove a person who is Wise

         1. Know who is Wise and who is ignorant.
         2. Know who is Noble and who is vile.
         3. Know who is rich and who is poor.
         4. Know what things are difficult and what things are easy.
         5. Know what things (affairs) should be abandoned and things should be done.
         6. Know his obligations.
         7. Know traditions of a country he arrives.
         8. Know where he should return from his original place.
         9. Study and understand very much Dharma (Buddha Dharma or Dharma).
         10. Know who he is from his previous life.

Translator's explanations:

        4. Many things of the world can be very difficult to do, form many unnecessary karma including bad karma. E.g. King, president, billionaire, millionaire, MD (abbreviation of Doctor of Medicine), PhD (Doctor of physics), architect, CEO (Chief executive officer), CFO (Chief financial officer), MBA (Master of business administration), CPA (Certified public accountant), programmer, professor, careers in corporation, professional careers, businessman, president of a company, manager, etc. Many things of cultivation are easy if you know how. E.g. Recitation of AMITABHA BUDDHA'S NAME and some kinds of Buddhist meditations are very easy to practice, can benefit your spiritual life greatly a long time.
        5. Many of worldly activities should be abandoned because they can harm, hurt your spiritual life in long terms. Many of cultivation activities should be done because you should cultivate your mind, mouth and body like what Buddha preached. When you have experiences and Wisdom, you can cultivate with eases.
        8. A person's original place is his Buddha mind. Originally, there is nothing except for his Buddha mind. A person's current mind or unreal mind is just an impure form of his Buddha mind. A person's mind in his mother womb doesn't know nothing so he has his pure Buddha mind. When he was born and when he begins to distinguish difference of things in life, his Buddha mind becomes impure. Impurity of his Buddha mind accumulates when he grows up. To return his current mind (worldly mind, unreal mind, impure mind) to his original place of his Buddha mind, he can recite Amitabha Buddha's name or practice meditations.

Sincerely, translator Tam Tinh.

Nam Mo A Mi Tuo Fo, Ni Hao Mae, Preaching of SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA you need to know:

Ten kinds of person you should not invite home

        1. Evil teacher.

        2. Wrong friend and evil friend.

        3. Person who often scorn a Sage.

        4. Two-tongued person.

        5. Lustful person.

        6. Person who likes to drink alcoholic beverages (alcoholic drinks).

        7. Person with bad characters (bad natures).

        8. Person who has no gratitude.

        9. Ill-mannered woman.

        10. Concubine who likes to wear jewelries.

Translator's explanations:

        1. All kinds of teachers including school teacher, college and university professor, Dharma teacher, etc.
        3. Sage in this context means Buddhist Sage. Non-Buddhist religions don't have Sage. Any person who often scorn a Sage will have very bad karma according to The Earth Store Bodhisattva Sutra. Other name of The Earth Store Bodhisattva Sutra is Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra.
        4. A two-tongued person is a person talks bad about other person when being with another person and vice versa.
        10. Jewelries in this context means all kinds of adornment wears including gold or silver ring, bracelet, necklace, earrings, ankle rings, watch, perfume, etc.

Sincerely, translator Tam Tinh.

Namo Amitabha, hi Baoer, your website looks clean and neat. A Preaching of SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA you may want to know:

Listened to Dharma but do not want to awake and cultivate is like a lamp put in front of a blind person

Like a person lights a torch in front of a blind person, that blind person has no use of it. Like a mental illness person with no clothes on his (her) naked body goes for a walk without any shyness, even a person gives him clothes to wear, he also doesn't mind to take and wear those clothes.

Likewise, dear Manava! Doubtful and ignorant people have opportunities to listen to Dharma preachings but do not want to awake and cultivate according to Dharma.

Ddai Phap Cu Dharani (book 13), chapter Making offering to a Dharma Master.

Sincerely, translator Tam Tinh.
